Rise Physiotherapy was built after our founder Victoria saw the need for more community services following Neurosurgical Interventions. Victoria has been a qualified physiotherapist for 13 years, working within both the NHS and Private sector, specialising in Neurosurgery across multiple Neurosurgical Centres within the UK.

Rise Physiotherapy specialises in rehabilitation following surgery to your brain or you spine. We visit patients at home, who have suffered Bleeds on the brain e.g Subarachnoid Haemorrhages and Subdural Haematomas, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Strokes, Brain Tumours as well as Spinal Cord injuries and Back Pain. 

We work within your own environment, helping you to regain movement, strength and most importantly confidence within your own abilities. We provide tailored exercise programmes and sessions to help you work towards your goals.

The sessions are all one to one, allowing a thorough examination and review of your movement and strength. This allows us to see how we can help you progress and ways in which to do this. Everyone is working towards their own goals and with the help of Rise Physiotherapy you can achieve these and others in a safe and effective way, from washing under your arms following a stroke, transferring more efficiently from your wheelchair to the bed, or increasing your confidence with walking outdoors.

The team at Rise Physiotherapy are all specialist Neurological Physiotherapists and all registered with both the CSP and the HCPC. You will have an initial session of 60minutes and then follow up sessions of 45minutes in which you will work alongside your Physiotherapist to achieve your goals.
